Location
The cottage takes its name from the nearby mountain and is situated at the foot of the Knockalla Mountains in a small private development offering the holidaymaker comfort and tranquillity. From the conservatory at the rear you can gaze eastwards across Ballymastocker Bay towards the Inishowen Peninsula or northwards towards Portsalon Harbour and the hills that lie behind. To the south the Knockalla Mountains tower imposingly above providing a constantly changing tapestry of colour in the ever changing light.

Interior
The cottage sleeps 7 people in 3 bedrooms; the master bedroom is on the ground floor and the other two bedrooms are upstairs. There is a toilet and shower on the ground floor and a toilet and bath upstairs. The cottage has gas-fired central heating throughout.  The through lounge features an open fire, television, leather 3 seater and 2 seater settees, matching chair, pine dining table with 6 chairs and a pine dresser.

The French doors in the lounge open to the conservatory which has an adjustable high/low coffee table and garden chairs. The compact kitchen has a microwave, fridge/freezer and a coffee percolator.  The lounge has a TV, DVD player, video and radio cassette.  The washing machine and gas fired tumble drier are located in the storage building to the rear of the cottage.  Outside there is ample parking space for 4 cars, a flagged patio area with barbecue and a clothesline.  The property is set in almost ½ acre which is laid out in grass.
 
Knockalla Caravan and Camping site is only 300 yards from the cottage where take-away meals, newspapers and basic provisions are available from the site shop during the summer months. Within a few minutes walk lies a magnificent sandy blue-flag beach ideal for swimming and other water sports.
